My family includes, my wife Rev. Juhye Hahn who is the pastor at Kensington UMC, our sixteen year old son, Peter and twelve year old daughter, Harim. One of my hobbies is studying. I have two masters degrees, a Master of Arts in Christian education from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in NYC, and a Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in preaching from Iliff School of Theology in Denver, Colorado. I am also a leadership coach for primarily church leaders who seek abundant life for themselves and for the people they lead.
Rev. Albert Hahn joined us in July of 2011 as our pastor. Prior to joining us, Rev. Hahn served in the Smithtown United Methodist Church, Vision of Peace Church in McLean Virgina (a new church start), Bellmore United Methodist Church on Long Island and the Korean Methodist Church and Institute in Manhattan. He was ordained in 1994 in the Northern New Jersey Conference (currently Greater New Jersey Conference).
According to him, he has been loving ministering to and with the Wethersfield United Methodist Church. He has been focusing on building the community through inspiring worship, small group ministry and lay leadership empowerment. He firmly believes that the 21st century church must build its ministry on a strong partnership between the laity and clergy. He finds great joy in inviting people to find their true calling in serving one another and serving God.
